Valdinievole is a beautiful agritourism with swimming pool near the picturesque medieval village of Montevettolini near Pistoia, Tuscany. The Holiday Domain consists of 2 beautiful totally independent vacation homes each for 4 people and with total privacy. Each house (Uliveto and Fienile) has its own private garden, private terrace and space for children to play without disturbing the other guests. This agritourism with pool in Tuscany enjoys an exceptional position and is surrounded by beautiful hills between Firenze and Pisa. Valdinievole dates back to the 1700s. The region is famous for the Montalbano wine. This is a famous wine, also called 'small Chianti' . Perfect location as a base for many sights in beautiful Tuscany, Italy.
There is a large common fenced infinity pool (10x13m, open after 28/05) with a children's pool 40 cm deep. The pool is very child friendly. All ages can have fun here! From the pool one enjoys powerful panoramic views of the surrounding nature. Absolute pure enjoyment.
The owners are ecological and live on site. They are extremely friendly and very discreet. They are always available to inform guests about the area, restaurants etc. They produce oil and wines in an ecological way and are more than happy to let you taste their harvest.
In terms of Sightseeing there are plenty of opportunities in the Chianti region! Be sure to visit the medieval village of Montevettolini just 1 km away. For complete relaxation, you can go to Montecatini Terme. This town is known for its many spas and buildings in "Liberty-style" architecture. For a little more action, you can take the cable car up to Montecatini Alto on the hilltop above Montecatini Terme. Here there are several bars and restaurants, definitely recommended for lunch or dinner. About a 15-minute drive will take you to Pistoia, this beautiful city was named the Italian Cultural Capital of the Year in 2017. There is a daily fruit and vegetable market, and a weekly large market on Wednesdays. It is the ideal place to stroll around and soak up Italian culture. Furthermore, you have several sights all less than 1 hour away: Collodi park, the birthplace of Leonardo da Vinci, the shopping town of Lucca, Pisa, Viareggio, Florence, ...
About the vacation rental
The holiday home Il Fienile accommodates 4 to 5 people and has a lovely enclosed garden and a covered terrace. It is ideal for families with young children or children who love to play outdoors. This holiday home is located a little closer to the swimming pool, making it easy to enjoy a refreshing dip whenever you like! In front of the entrance, you will find a large, pleasant enclosed private garden with a grassy lawn, ideal for children to run around and play. Here too, you can enjoy a delicious barbecue or a relaxing glass of wine on your private terrace. Air conditioning is available upstairs in the bedrooms.
An additional bedroom can be rented for a supplement of €120 per week. It has a 160 cm bed and an en-suite shower room with a toilet, bidet and washbasin. The shared washing machine is available for an additional fee of €7, including detergent. Stays do not have to run from Saturday to Saturday, although a minimum stay of 7 nights is required during the high season.
