The house is just a 10-minute bike ride or a 5-minute drive from the center of L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. The town and the region enchant visitors with their colors, scents, and Provençal atmosphere. In the summer, the song of the cicadas can be heard everywhere. In the center, you’ll discover cozy terraces, antique markets, and local shops.
The region offers a wealth of activities: canoeing on the Sorgue, walking along the water, admiring traditional nego chin (flat-bottomed boats), and visiting lively Provençal markets.
A short distance away are Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, Gordes, Roussillon (terre d’Ocre), Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, Les Baux-de-Provence, Avignon, and Villeneuve d’Avignon. Accessibility is excellent, and the coast, airport, and train station are also easily accessible for a day trip.
