Le Forest Arto is a beautiful vacation rental in Ancelle, Gap, France and offers a unique view of the region. The place to be for anyone who loves nature! The vacation rental in Ancelle (Gap, Hautes-Alpes, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur) is accessible via a 100-meter-long dirt road and is within walking distance of the charming town of Ancelle.
Le Forest Arto has been fully restored while preserving authentic features and is equipped with all modern comforts. The home’s electricity is generated entirely independently by solar panels. The owner is happy to explain how easy it is to operate them.
Interior:
On the ground floor of Le Forest Arto is the modern open kitchen with all the amenities: a gas stove and oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer compartment, and coffee maker. The living area is very cozy. The master bedroom with en-suite shower room offers direct access to the garden.
On the first floor, there are 2 bedrooms, each with its own TV and shower room. All rooms are furnished with a double bed (160 cm).
Exterior:
Le Forest Arto Vacation Home (Ancelle, Gap) is surrounded by 10 hectares of unspoiled nature. Enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner on the BBQ or plancha under the umbrella on the terrace. The garden lounge invites you to admire nature in all its simplicity and beauty.
Relaxing in the Scandinavian outdoor pool is the perfect finishing touch (supplement of 55€, to pay on site).
At Forest Arto, you can also book a massage. The therapist will come to your home to pamper you even more.
Surroundings:
Be sure to explore the region on foot or by bike. With its green meadows, mountain lakes, forests, and fields, Ancelle is the perfect base for many hikes. Around Ancelle, there are more than 100 km of marked hiking trails and 60 km of mountain biking fun. Are you more adventurous by nature? Then definitely give paragliding a try and fly like a bird over all that beauty. The via ferrata (a route marked with steel cables anchored to the rock face every 2–8 meters) is an absolute must for mountaineers. In the nearby river, you can enjoy various water activities such as fishing or kayaking. Another must-see is Le Lac Saint Julien, just 15 km away, where you can swim, windsurf, or rent a pedal boat (pedalo) in the midst of the beautiful mountains.
Rent this vacation home and visit the picturesque Ancelle with its narrow streets and charming village square. The outdoor cafes are always full, and the bocce court is very popular.

What are the arrival and departure times?
Arrival is possible from 4:00 p.m. and departure until 9:30 a.m. In certain cases, an exception can be made. We are at your disposal to assist you, so please do not hesitate to contact us.
Can I bring my dog to the holiday home?
At CAP, we’re all animal lovers, and we offer a wide range of accommodations where your four-legged friend is welcome. Each property listing indicates whether dogs are allowed, but we always ask the owner for permission first. When you submit your booking request, please mention your dog’s breed, you’ll receive a quick response.
What if I need to cancel my booking?
