The South of France remains our favourite holiday destination. There are endless beautiful cities, places of interest and the French Riviera offers everything you need for a wonderful holiday by the sea. Discover the Var with Cap, a beautiful region on the French Riviera that you should definitely visit. With the perfect holiday house on the French Riviera, you can go in any direction. Specifically in the Var, you can stay exclusively in a true holiday paradise: with a holiday home with swimming pool in the Gaou Bénat domaine, you will stay amidst La Lavandou, Hyères, Porquerolles and Cap Bénat. And these are precisely the most beautiful spots in the Var. Have you never heard of Gaou Bénat? It is a quiet domain surrounded by nature, with beautiful holiday villas overlooking the region. The beach is close by everywhere, but it is still extra enjoyable, especially on holidays with children, with a holiday home with swimming pool on the French Riviera.

Bormes-les-Mimosas is a beautiful village in the Var known for its picturesque and flowery streets and its beautiful views. It is about 5 km from the Mediterranean Sea, so an afternoon at the beach is always possible. Although the name Bormes-les-Mimosas may not sound as familiar to you as Ramatuelle or Saint-Tropez, it is certainly not inferior in terms of beauty or delicious gastronomy. Near Bormes-les-Mimosas you will find the famous domain of Chateau Léoube. Chateau Léoube is known for a delicious dry rosé, which is of course ideal in the summer months. They also produce organic olive oil, white wine, red wine and a sparkling wine. Chateau Léoube is a beautiful green estate on the coast and there is a lovely beach bar and wine bar on the waterfront where you can enjoy the ultimate French holiday atmosphere. Does this sound like music to your ears? Then don't hesitate to have a look at Cap for a luxury villa in Bormes-les-Mimosas.

Le Lavandou is a municipality in the Var region and forms part of the Toulon district. It is about 5 km from Bormes-les-Mimosas and is known for its beautiful white beaches with the blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea. Le Lavandou stretches along 12 km of coastline and has 12 sandy beaches overlooking the islands of Iles du Levant and Port-Cros. From palm trees to olive trees, in the shadow of the beautiful green Mediterranean coast, you will certainly enjoy your holiday in France in Le Lavandou. Looking for a holiday home in Le Lavandou? Let Cap advise you and find your ideal holiday home in the area.

Cap Bénat is a small rocky point, surrounded by the sea, on the Mediterranean peninsula of the Var. It overlooks the islands of Porquerolles and Port-Cros. At Cap Bénat, you can walk along the rocky coast and look out for other beaches and towns nearby. Here, one can especially enjoy the beautiful nature.

Hyères is the most southern point of the French Riviera and is also called Hyères-les-Palmiers thanks to the -you guessed it- many palm trees that have been planted there. Also from here you can see the islands Porquerolles, Port-Cros and Le Levant. The 100 km long coastline of Hyères consists of beautiful sandy beaches, unique rock formations and fantastic views. The most famous part of Hyères is without a doubt La Route du Sel, the road to the peninsula that leads you straight through the sea and the salt plains, where you can also spot flamingos! Kite surfers and windsurfers can also be seen everywhere, as Hyères is a real paradise for water sports enthusiasts. More inland, there is also much beauty to be seen. There are several parks, les 'Jardins Remarquables', that are worth a visit and in the city itself you can stroll through the medieval streets and visit historical monuments.
Porquerolles is the largest island of les Îles d'Hyères and lies next to the other islands Île du Levant and Port Cros. They are also called les Îles d'Or, the Golden Islands. Once you set foot ashore, you will understand why. The South of France is already so beautiful, but there is always a unique atmosphere to be found on an island. Porquerolles can be reached all year round from Hyères and in the summer months also from Le Lavandou, Toulon and Bormes. The island is known for its beautiful beach and nature, where you can take a good brisk walk or bike ride. Take the walk to the lighthouse if you prefer a less intensive hike. That walk takes only about two hours there and back and you will be rewarded with a beautiful panorama of the whole island. At the harbour you will find several restaurants and bars where you can sit on the terrace and quench your thirst.
All these wonderful holiday destinations have something in common: they are super close to each other! So find a holiday house with pool in the Var, or ask Cap for a holiday house with pool in domaine Gaou Bénat and start planning your trip.
