As far back as I can remember, I have always travelled with the family to different holiday homes in different regions. Thanks to her knowledge, my mum took tremendous pleasure in picking out the best holiday homes for the family. Later, I took over this task with a great thrill and when we were looking to rent a lovely holiday home with friends, I knew exactly which holiday homes with swimming pool to suggest!

Meanwhile, I know exactly what I find important when renting a holiday home. Charm, enough space and a holiday home with a beautiful view is always a big plus for me ;-)

Here I am happy to share with you my favourite holiday homes that I have already had the pleasure of testing out for a week.

El Caprichio

An absolutely charming house in southern Spain with fantastic views of the surrounding area. El Caprichio is my personal favourite because the combination between coziness and nature, stole my heart. I remember vividly how we went to visit Gaucin andGibraltar. But I didn't forget to relax in the hammock either! In 2020, I had planned to bring my friends here, but unfortunately the Corona beast threw a spanner in the works!

La Pierre

An old friend I went to visit several times with my parents. A holiday home on the Côte d'Azur that has been in our range foryears which has always had unimaginable success. An IDEAL holiday home for several families with children. How I enjoyed sharing a room with my nieces! We have many holiday homes with a beautiful view, and yes, La Pierre is one of them here ;-).

Les Pins Tranquilles

This flat in Cannes has become a staple for me. I feel completely at home here. A beautiful flat which, thanks to its central location, is also often our base when we visit other holiday homes on the Côte d'Azur. Les Pins Tranquilles has an exceptional terrace with a broad and unique view where I can completely relax. A perfect flat with a lot to do in the area, but also perfect for teleworking and exploring Cannes on foot in the evening, or by scooter!

Villa Carrera

This holiday home with a private pool in the mountains is the very first one I chose to spend holidays with my friends. 4 couples each with their own bedroom and bathroom. Villa Carrera was exactly what we needed! Enjoying the beautiful views by the pool wasa regular activity, but for those who couldn't sit still, the basketball court and petanque court were a hit! Vladia

When our holidays in Spain fell through because of Corona, we needed an alternative. This time we were a smaller group and we headed to Vladia. During our stay, we visited the village of Roussillon with its ochre quarries, which we definitely recommended! Renting a holiday home in Languedoc Roussillon? Villa Noa

In 2020, we added a dog to our family. When the search for a holiday home in La Douce France started again, an additional element came into play. When "holiday home rental with dog" became my new search term, I came across Villa Noa. The large kitchen was also clearly appreciated by the foodies in the group.
