Glanum, a famous archaeological site around a natural spring, takes you right back to the time of the Greeks & Romans. This site is in exceptionally good condition and a kind of Pompeii in Provence. Van Gogh spent several months in the psychiatric institution in Saint Rémy de Provence and the village is the setting for many of his artworks. Today you can experience all these gems and views for yourself via a wonderful 'Van Gogh walk'.
