Fonte dell'Orcia

Ancient stone farmhouse dated back to 1800 located in the heart of Val d’Orcia (Tuscany), UNESCO heritage, just 2 Km from the fascinating medieval hamlet of Monticchiello.

The holiday house, set in a panoramic position, is part of a large farm estate and preserves the typical features of the old country houses. The property is composed by two independent apartments and is an ideal place both for groups and families who like to spend an holiday together maintaining their own independence.

The interiors, very spacious, are characterised by ceiling exposed beams and cotto floors and furnishings, typical of the Tuscan style, are largely with antiques.

The swimming pool is well organised and all around is surrounded by very nice green spaces made precious by tress and flowers. Very beautiful is the covered cloister furnished with tables and chairs for groups with a wonderful panoramic view over the Val d’Orcia.

This is a perfect place for all people who like to spend an holiday in the Tuscan countryside and to be at the same time a short distance away the most famous towns of this area, especially Pienza, the jewel city of Papa Enea Piccolomini and Montepulciano, well known for its art, culture and the “Nobile” wine.

Suitable for disabled people. The house is reached by a country road of about 2 Km in good conditions.
