Casa dos Cedros (Santarém, Portugal) is divided into a large living and dining room with fireplace and garden views. The kitchen is fully equipped with induction hob, dishwasher and all accessories as well as a separate laundry room. All areas are located on the ground floor, which makes it extra accessible for people with reduced mobility. There are 3 bedrooms with a double bed, one of which has an extra bed. Two of the bedrooms share a bathroom with bath and the master suite has a bathroom with bath and walk-in closet. There is also a guest bathroom with a shower.
The centrally located private swimming pool (10m x 5m) of your holiday home invites you for a refreshing dip and is surrounded by terraces where you can relax on a sun lounger or under the covered terrace. The beautiful garden surrounds the entire house with lawns, an impressive cedar, olive trees, almond trees and even a pepper tree. A beautiful rustic wooden table under the patio is the ideal place for a nice lunch and a delicious barbecue.
Casa dos Cedros is the perfect base for cultural and culinary excursions. The town of Santarém, known for its bullfights, is barely 8 km away. Definitely plan a day trip (about 40 minutes by car) to Lisbon, a vibrant city with a very nice atmosphere. Taste the Sopa da Pedra (stone soup), or the “Migas Ribatejanas”, a tasty dish with vegetables and bread. The sweet treats with lots of eggs and much more sugar are also not to be missed. All this in the company of a delicious glass of wine from the Ribatejo completes the picture.
