At Kajendo Lodge, you can combine the complete freedom of a private estate with the service of a boutique hotel: full-time staff are at your service every day, while you enjoy the heated infinity pool, private sports facilities, and authentic Senegalese hospitality.

Interior: Ambience, Comfort & Privacy
The interior of Kajendo Lodge exudes a warm, soothing atmosphere where you’ll feel right at home. Each room features a comfortable double bed, a private shower room, and air conditioning. In the annex, you can also use the fitness room or even request a wonderfully relaxing in-room massage.

During your stay, you’ll enjoy exclusive use of the vacation home as well as the excellent care provided by the full-time staff. Caretaker René lives discreetly on the property in a sixth bedroom with its own entrance (separate from the guest area) and is available Monday through Saturday to serve as your security guard, gardener, and handyman. Housekeeper Nini handles cleaning, laundry, and ironing from 8:30 a.m. to approximately 4:30/5:00 p.m., and prepares your breakfast, lunch, and, if desired, dinner. For groups of 6 or more, she will be assisted by an additional staff member.

Exterior: The Spacious Outdoor Living Area & Pool House
Outdoor living is 'what it’s all about' at Kajendo Lodge, with the 12.5-meter by 5-meter private pool (1.70 meters deep) as the centerpiece. Thanks to the tropical climate, the water temperature stays at a delightful 26°C to 30°C all year round. Adjacent to this is the covered terrace with the “poolhouse” outdoor bar. In addition to relaxing by the pool, you can also enjoy the petanque court or ping-pong table available outdoors.

Surroundings: relaxation, action, and the beach
Cap Skirring and the magical Casamance offer the perfect balance between tranquility, nature, and adventure. Start your day with a walk along the endless sandy beach or take a dip in the ocean (avg. 25°C). For water and sports enthusiasts, there are two two-person kayaks ready to be loaded onto the roof of your car and taken to the sea or the enchanting mangrove creeks (bolongs). Nearby, you can also go surfing, jet skiing, wakeboarding, or play on the newly built padel courts next to the resort. Golf enthusiasts can enjoy Club Med’s beautiful 9-hole golf course from late October through late April (par 37, 3,160 m, green fee approx. €60, excluding caddy and equipment).

Set out on a rented ATV or mountain bike from Cap Skirring or Oussouye to explore the traditional fishing villages along the mangroves. Anglers will be in heaven in the fish-rich saltwater, and foodies can take a boat from Katakalousse to the riverside village of Kachouane for an unforgettable meal: fresh, grilled mangrove oysters, crab legs, spiny lobster, or fresh-caught fish (Thiof).

• Airport transportation: The airport taxi to and from Cap Skirring Airport is included in the price.

• Car rental: A new Renault Oroch 4x4 is available for rent for €60/day (with a full tank upon arrival and departure).

• Additional services upon request: Hiring a professional chef or additional evening service provided by the staff.

• Wellness upon request: A professional massage therapist will come to the property upon request.

• Electricity: Ample electricity is included for normal use (in case of excessive use, such as running the AC with open windows, an additional charge will apply).
